Parents & Carers SEND Q&A sessions

Thu, 6th May 2021 (11.00am - 12.30pm)

For parents and carers.

Parents and carers are invited to the latest Q&A session with the SEND leads - Thursday 6th May
These regular events are an opportunity for parents and carers to come and chat about all things SEND with Sally Senejko, Alex Nancollis and Di Routledge, SEND leads for education, health and social care in Cumbria

Chose from two sessions
either 11:00 until 12:30 or 18:30 until 20:00
You are invited to come along and chat about all things SEND with Sally Senejko, Alex Nancollis and Di Routledge. Sally is the Cumbria County Council Senior Manager for SEND and covers education, Alex is the NHS Designated Clinical Officer for SEND and covers health, and Di is the Cumbria County Council Senior Manager for Inclusion and covers social care. They would like you to join them for an informal and friendly session via Microsoft Teams.

Whilst the SEND leads won't be able to resolve any specific individual issues, they will be available for general advice and information, and to discuss the things that matter to you and your children and young people across education, health and social care.

This is the latest in a series of meetings in which the team are getting to know Cumbria's SEND families and building up an understanding of what matters to you and your children. The session will be a relaxed, informal way to get to know the team, chat with other parents and share stories, tips and information.

If you would like to attend one of the sessions on Thursday 6th May you can chose from 11:00 - 12:30 or the evening session at 6:30 - 8pm then please email Hayley Stewart at hayley.stewart@cumbria.gov.uk
