E-PAtS - Early Positive Approaches to Support - involves FREE eight weekly group sessions that provide sensitive support and information for families in the early years of bringing up a child with an additional need. A trained family caregiver and a professional run these groups and they cover:
* Accessing services and supports
* Emotional wellbeing and resilience for caregivers
* Supporting sleep for children
* Supporting communication
* Supporting skills development
* Positive approaches to behaviours that challenge.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside other families to work on ways to support yourself, your child and family. And you will never be judged or told what to do!
If you would like to find out more about how you can take part in these Zoom sessions, or if you would like any further information, please contact facilitator AMANDA BLAND on 07525 494 205.
The sessions kick off with an information session on Wednesday February 24 from 7pm to 7.30pm and then there will be eight weekly sessions on Wednesdays between 7pm and 9pm. All online via Zoom.
