Please help us fund vital services

SAVING money by not going to the pub? Then why not give THAT cash to CARLISLE MENCAP and help us maintain our vital services through these difficult times?

Posted Wednesday, 25th March 2020

WE are all living through difficult times at the moment but please remember Carlisle Mencap's vital work goes on and we need YOUR help more than ever.

For obvious reasons, all fundraising events and activities are on hold. We do not know when they will start again. This means we desperately need people to donate as much as they can to help us continue to provide our support and services for more than 500 adults and children with learning disabilities and their families.

You cannot go to the pub, or out for that family meal at your favourite restaurant, or go to the match at Brunton Park - so instead, the money you are not spending on those treats could go to Carlisle Mencap instead. Many of our service users can't self-isolate - they probably need our support now more than ever.

So please - think about giving us a donation, large medium or small. It all helps. Cheques can be made out to 'Carlisle Mencap Ltd' and sent to: Carlisle Mencap, Unit J3, Duchess Avenue, Kingmoor Park North, Carlisle CA6 4SN.

Or if you would like to pay by BACS, contact our office on 01228 674393. Or you can drop your donation off at our main office - address above - or our Grace Little Centre off the Crindledyke Road, or our California House centre for adults on California Road, Kingstown, Carlisle.

And remember - you can help raise money for Carlisle Mencap by shopping at the Co-op or online with Amazon. Full details in a separate article in this 'News' section or go to our Facebook page and/or Twitter account.

Every penny helps - so please give as much as you can. And thank you!

THANK YOU for your support ...
